His untimely death in 1950 was a
shock to the entire family.

Beatrice was the first licensed female
embalmer in the State of Connecticut

"Bee-Bee" played an active role at
Parente-Lauro right up to her death.

To know Mrs. Lauro was to know a
woman who truly loved life.

Her impact on the community and
the Funeral Home is evident to this
day.

Some time after the death of Joseph,
Beatrice and Ralph married.  They
were partners in business as well as
in life.

Ralph played an active role in raising
the Parente children, who love and
miss him deeply.
