Harold L. Shairer, age 72 of Bridgeport, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, January 24, 2013 in his home with his loving family by his side. Born in Bridgeport on November 23, 1940 he was the son of the late Carl F. and Florence (Sansonetti) Shairer and was a lifelong Bridgeport resident. He was a retired employee of Bridgeport Brass Co., and C.R.L Bus Co. Survivors include his loving family, his sister, Bernadette Mucherino and husband Pat of Bridgeport and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one brother, Fred Shairer. Friends are invited to attend the funeral on Friday, February 8, 2013 at 11:00 AM DIRECTLY in St. Theresa Church, 5301 Main St., Trumbull with a Mass of the Christian Burial. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements entrusted to the Parente-Lauro Funeral Home, 559 Washington Ave., Bridgeport.
