Janet Asdrubali, age 103 of Bridgeport, the beloved wife of the late Mario Asdrubali, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, February 10, 2013 in Ludlow Health Center, Fairfield, with her loving Goddaughter by her side. Born in Bridgeport on March 19, 1909, she was a Bridgeport resident most of her life. Janet was a retired secretary for Remington Arms Co., a member of the DuPont Remington Arms Pensioners Club and a Founding Member of the Italian Community Center of Bridgeport. She was also a member of the Italian Graduate Scholarship Committee of the University of Bridgeport. Survivors include her beloved Goddaughter, Roberta Murphy and husband Shawn and family, and her dear friends, Betsy Jones and Edna Donnelly. Friends are invited to attend the funeral on Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at 10:00 AM DIRECTLY in St. Margaret’s Shrine, 2539Park Ave., Bridgeport for a Mass of the Christian Burial. Entombment in St. Michael Cemetery, Garden Mausoleum, Stratford. There will be no calling hours.
